How do I book a Tattoo with you?

Can I see my design ahead of time?
I'm happy to send you a drawing a few hours before your appointment, but I do prefer to go over the drawing together in person!
There's a few reasons for this, and traditionally most tattoo artists do not share drawings until the day of during the appointment.
-It's much easier to communicate about your design in person
-You're not as prone to overthinking, or other's opinions about what's going on YOUR body!
-It protects my time and energy
-It doesn't allow for designs to be taken to another artist - please respect my creativity and effort
But I do want you to LOVE what we're making with ink!
If there's minor changes, we can do that ahead of time or during the meeting.
It can be incredibly consuming for me to make several or major revisions!
Because of this, I require an additional $30-50 for significant revisions (that does not go towards the payment of your tattoo).
We may also need to reschedule your appointment due to time restriction.
Where are you located?
I'm currently located at TEMPEST TATTOO ATELIER in Downtown Kelowna, BC, CA.
Can I bring someone to the appointment with me?
I personally enjoy a more 1:1 setting to create in, but if you would feel more comfortable, we do allow 1 other guest to join!
What should I do to prepare for my tattoo?
Please make sure you're well fed, hydrated, and rested above all else!
I have some small sugar snacks and juice boxes available, but please bring a full water bottle. There's a small fridge in the studio available if you need to store some snacks during your appointment.
Moisturizing and taking good care of your skin is also important in the week/days prior to your tattoo.
Make sure you're not sunburnt, or dealing with any skin issues in the area we will be tattooing.
If you're on any medications, please make sure you mention that! Antibiotics or blood thinners for example could prevent us from tattooing you that day.
Please do not use numbing cream! It can make the ink insertion difficult in some cases. You may also develop a reaction if you are sensitive or allergic to the brand you bought which means I can’t tattoo you that day!
Sometimes the outcome of your tattoo could be affected by certain numbing cream as well, and generally it doesn't last a very long time and then you're feeling all the pain at once when it wears off!
How should I pay on the day of my appointment?
Cash is preferred but I also don’t mind e-transfer!
We do not have an ATM at the studio, so please come prepared.
In the event that you did not bring cash, I can take Card/E-transfer, however it will be subject to a transaction fee.
Tips are appreciated but not a requirement. If you'd like to leave a non-monetary tip, I love handmade gifts, plants, oddities, etc!
Do you tattoo in colour?
I’m now open to taking colour projects at a discounted rate!

How long have you been tattooing?
I started tattooing other people in April 2023! I’m learning SO fast and loving it so far. I enjoy new challenges and subject matter so even if you don’t see something like you envision in my portfolio or design library, give me a shout anyway!

i’m open to them! Make sure you mention on your consult form and I’ll be able to see if it’s something I can tackle.
